I thought that maybe it was my drive, but I've not ever had problems with it before and am not having problems with it now since after the reformat. Two possibles: 1 You don't have the appropriate permissions for installing the software. The software may require administrator access. Make sure that the account you are using to install it has local admin access. Go into your network properties and reinstall file and printer sharing. If that doesn't work, tell us more about the program you are installing.
Does this happen with any program you are trying to install, or just one specific program? If so, what is the program? I was installing with administrator access, checked the file and printer sharing which you refurred to. I was having the problem with many different programs, not just one.
Sounds like a cashe problem with the hard disk. With mb ram windows has lots of space for cashing. But to be safe slow down your ram timing in the bios first, if it works your ram is the problem. I hope it help's. You might double check how much free space is left. I checked my bios and didn't see where to slow down the ram timing. I also have plenty of room on the drive. Hi It may be that the data that should be saved to this file during shutdown can not be saved because the shutdown is too fast.
Save this file as you may need it in case something goes wrong. Save it as Devices. Documentation is the trick and the testing to make sure that it works.
I follow the KISS principle and use text documents to store my information. When I first started out I wrote everything down and ended up with bits of paper everywhere. What a mess! Now I can just search my text files for keywords and I have most of the answers for what I need. If not I use Google. If I think that it will work and I haven't tested to be certain, I let people know. I never thought of doing that! Is there a shortcut in which I can search documents by keywords in the document?
I use 'A word or phrase in the file:' if Im not sure of the title. Vista and Windows 7 search will find them anyway. I sometimes have to open a couple of files to find the right information but its no big deal.
